Our range is available in the market at leading prices in packs of different quantities.

Aluminium Trihydrate (ATH), chemically known as Aluminium Hydroxide (Al(OH)₃), is a white, odourless, non-abrasive, and chemically inert mineral derived from bauxite through the Bayer refining process. It is one of the most widely used flame-retardant fillers globally, and is also valued for its multi-functional performance in polymers, composites, coatings, rubber compounds, and specialized industrial systems.

ATH begins to decompose endothermically at around 200–220°C, releasing three molecules of water per molecule of ATH and leaving behind alumina (Al₂O₃). This decomposition absorbs heat, suppresses ignition, reduces smoke formation, and delays flame spread—making ATH highly effective as a halogen-free flame retardant and smoke suppressant in a wide range of applications.

In addition to its flame-retardant behaviour, ATH functions as a cost-effective filler, extender, and reinforcement agent. It improves dimensional stability, mechanical strength, and electrical insulation in polymer systems. It also enhances opacity and matting in paints and coatings, increases thermal resistance in construction materials, and improves moisture resistance in rubber and flooring products.

ATH is available in various particle sizes, ranging from fine to coarse grades, and can also be surface-treated to improve dispersion, rheology, or compatibility with specific polymer matrices. It is widely used in halogen-free cable compounds, moulded electrical parts, solid surfaces, sealants, paints, paper, ceramics, and water treatment chemicals.

Its wide range of properties and safety profile make ATH an essential material in industries focused on flame safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental sustainability.
